Week of December 5

We are celebrating Christmas in Jumpstart!

Our color this week was GREEN.

At Circle Time we decorated our Christmas tree felt board with felt ornaments in all our colors. We took turns naming the color and placing th ornament on the tree.

We read the counting book Merry Christmas Mouse! by Laura Numeroff.

For our Play Center we decorated a small Christmas tree with ornaments and tinsel.

For our Fine Motor Center we put white Pom poms in snowman bottles.

For our Art Center we made Christmas trees with the letters of our names. Our little ones are doing great at starting to recognize their name. We will work more after break on name recognition and learning the first letter of our name. We used star stickers to decorate our trees.

We also worked on a secret Christmas presents for Moms and Dads :)

There is not much that makes us smile more then watching these little nuggets learn to pray! God is great. God is good. Let us thank him for our food. Amen!

These boys are so excited for Christmas!
