Our shape this week was OVAL.
Our Science this month is WATER.
For our Art Center we made suncatchers. We used markers to color in our cross. Our little ones were excited to take these home and hang them in a window.
For our Skill Center we played with shape blocks. While we were stacking and playing we practiced naming the shapes.
For our Fine Motor Center we worked on our scissor skills. We cut the grass to reveal some spring flowers. We are getting so good at snipping. You can always practice at home with junk mail or old newspaper. We remind our friends to keep their thumb up and keep the scissors pointed away from them.
For our Sensory Center we played with foam doh. Our little ones have fun rolling and squishing different shapes. This is great for building hand strength!
For our Outdoor Learning Center we "painted the fence". We took some buckets of water and foam brushes out to the playground. Our little ones used the water to "paint". They had lots of fun!
