Week of January 24

 Our shape this week is SQUARE.

 This week we worked on a variety of activities to assess our little ones for report cards. We are SO excited with how much they have learned!

At Circle Time we are working to recognize our name and the first letter of our name.

For our ART Center we finished up some more SQUARE Letters.

For our Sensory Center we played with SQUARE Magna Tiles on the light table.

For a Skill Center we played with a color and shape sorting train.

For a Fine Motor Center we worked more on stringing beads.

For a Math Center we did lots of counting in books.

We got some new Dino bouncers for our Indoor Recess area.

Week of January 17

 Our shape this week was SQUARE.

For our Art Center we made the first letter of our name. We put glue on our letter and covered it with squares.

For another Fine Motor Center we traced and colored SQUARES.

For Sensory Center we played with SQUARE Magna Tiles on the light table.

For a Fine Motor Center we strung large beads and buttons on string.

We have lots of fun playing with our friends!

Week of January 10

Our Color this week was WHITE.

Our Shape was CIRCLE.

At Circle Time we made a Snowman. He is made of WHITE CIRCLES. Our little ones are doing so good sitting and paying attention at Circle Time.

For our Art Center we painted mittens. We had our mittens folded. we painted one side with orange and yellow paint. Then we pressed the two sides together so we had two matching mittens. 

For our Fine Motor center we worked on some prewriting skills. We traced horizontal and vertical lines. We also traced and colored CIRCLES.
 

For another Fine Motor Center we stuffed snowman bottles with WHITE pom poms.

For another Fine Motor Center we played with Snowman poppers. They were hard to press until the suction cup stuck, but it was super fun watching them pop back up!! Lots of fun things help us make strong hands!

For a Group Center we had a snowball toss!

We had a lot of fun doing Cosmic Kids Frozen Yoga!!

We may have to stay inside for recess, but we can still run and have fun!
