Week of April 15

Our shape of the week was OVAL.

For our Art Center we painted a sunrise. We dripped watercolor paint on coffee filters. We used red, orange, and yellow. We glued the sunrise to a paper that said "He is Risen".

For a Play Center we had lots of fun hiding and hunting Easter eggs.

For our Fine Motor Centers we played with some of our favorite toys.

Week of April 8

Our Shape this week was OVAL. An OVAL is like and egg.

For our Art Center we painted half of a paper plate brown. That was our nest. We made 3 yellow OVAL chicks to go inside. They added eyes and beaks to give the chicks a lot of personality.

For our Sensory Center we played with the light table. We they chose glass beads in different colors and patterns to decorate flowers.

For our Skill Center we practiced making the shape OVAL. We traced and colored our Ovals.

For our Fine Motor Center we played with shape matching eggs. Each egg half had a shape and color. We found the matching part and put them together.
