Week of March 14

Our shape this week was RECTANGLE.

Every day we look out the window and talk about the weather. Sometimes we get lucky and see some cardinals visiting our outdoor learning area.

Our little ones are getting SO good at finding the first letter of their name.

For our Art Center we stamped RECTANGLE on paper to make a train.

For our Play Center we played with toy trains, tracks, and cars.

For our Skill Center we played with a color and shape matching train.

For our Fine Motor Center we made train tracks out of PlusPlus blocks.

We were happy to get some time outside.

Week of March 7

Our Shape this week was STAR.

Our Wednesday class had a virtual day due to the EVSC schedule. We loved seeing some pictures of how they enjoyed their at home day!

For our Art Center we made a rocket out of rectangles with our name on them. We added sticker STARS in the sky.

For a Fine Motor Center we practiced writing our first letter of our name.

For another Fine Motor Center we played with building blocks. These are similar to the Plus Plus blocks.

We paired up with a friend and shot foam rockets!

We try to work in lots of time to move. Sometimes we wear them out too!

Week of Feburary 28

Our shape this week was TRIANGLE

For our Art Center we painted lions. We used a TRIANGEL shape for the head. We dabbed orange and yellow paint on to make the mane.

For a Skill Center we searched through shape blocks looking for TRIANGLES.

For a Fine Motor Center we did a lacing activity.

For another Fine Motor Center we used dot markers. We filled in a Triangle. We loved them so much we wanted to keep dotting on other paper!

We had a special visit from the Vanderburgh County Library. We enjoyed the silly books.

We were happy to get outside some!
