Week of November 13

Our color this week was BROWN.

We read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura J Numeroff.

For our Skill Center we sorted cupcakes by color. We used chunky tweezers to pick them up and put them in the right pan.

For our Art Center we made chocolate chip cookies on a plate. We worked our fine motor skills picking up the tiny chips and glueing them on our cookies.

For our Play Center we used a spatula to take cookies from a cookie sheet and place them in our bowl.

For our Fine Motor Center we connected bear cookies together.

School is out the week of November 20. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Week of November 6

Our color this week was BROWN.

Another of our favorite songs at school is Going on a Lion Hunt.


We read Brown Bear Brown Bear by Eric Carle. And acted out the story.

For our Art Center we stamped bear tracks with potato stamps.

For our Fine Motor Center we strung small pony beads on pipe cleaners. It was a challenge to pick up the small beads, but they did a great job!

For our Skill Center we played a color matching game with characters from the Brown Bear Brown Bear book.

For another Skill Center we colored pictures of Brown Bear.

We had a fun visit from storyteller Mary Jo Huff on Thursday. All our little one loved Mary Jo's puppets and stories!

We will not have school the week of Thanksgiving. We will have parent teacher conferences that Monday. Enjoy your Holiday!
