Week of November 12

Our color this week was BROWN.
We read Bear Feels Scared by Karma Wilson.

For our Art Center we finished making our turkey. We used the tails we painted last week. We added a body and face. They turned out so cute.

For our Sensory Center we played in brown beans.

For a Fine Motor Center we played with bear cookies. We flipped and moved them on the pan. We also were able to snap them together.

For another Fine Motor Center we put beans in containers. We used our pincher grasp to pick up the beans and place them in the container holes.

Week of November 5

Our color this week was BROWN.

We read Run Turkey Run by Diane Mayr.

For our Art Center we painted turkey tails. We used a pipette and our pincher grasp to drip liquid water color paint onto coffee filters. We used the colors Yellow, Brown, and Orange. We will finish our turkeys next week.

For our Sensory Center we played with Playdoh. We made feathers to decorate a Turkey mat.

For our Fine Motor Center we played with pie! We used chunky tweezers to sort the different color fruits into the pie.

For a Skill Center we colored a BROWN Turkey.

We had an extra Center this week where we played with tools. Our little ones had fun finding different ways to use their tools.
