Week of March 20

Our shape this week is RECTANGLE.

We read the book The Princess and the Pea by Harriet Ziefert.

We had a Pajama Day to celebrate Day 7 of Creation. God sat back and looked at all he had made, and He said, "It is good!" Then, he rested.

For our Art Center we made Princess Beds. We stacked five mattresses, and we practice counting all five. For a special surprise, we hid a pea at the bottom.

For our Fine Motor Center we sorted different types of beans.

For our Skill Center we traced shapes and lines. We are strengthening up our hand muscles for writing.

For another fine motor center we decorated Princess braids. We used our pincher grasp to put tiny hair clips on our braids.

Our little one thanking God for their food.

Week of March 13

Our shape this week was RECTANGLE. A Rectangle is like a door.  Our theme was robots.

We read the book Robots , Robots Everywhere! by Sue Fliess

For our Skill Center we traced robots.

For a Fine Motor Center we stacked rectangle blocks. We stacked them on the short end and on the long end.

For another Fine Motor Center we laced wooden robot shapes.

For our Art Center we made robots out of rectangles.
