Week of September 20

 Our color this week was BLUE.

Our book was The Deep Blue Sea by Audrey Wood.

For our Art Center we started making Jellyfish. We painted half a paper plate BLUE. We will add eyes and nematocysts later after the paint dries. Our little ones are getting so good at painting. We focus on long strokes, dragging and lifting our paintbrush.

For our Play Center we went fishing. We used magnetic fishing pols to catch fish of all different colors. We are learning to wait patiently and take turns.

For a Fine Motor Center we played with BLUE foam dough. This really helps our hands get stronger.

When it is rainy or too cold to go outside, we stay in and play.

Week of September 13

 Our color this week was BLUE.

Our book this week was the Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle.

For our Sensory Center we played in black beans with BLUE Trucks.

For our Art Center we finger painted. We painted the muddy Little Blue Truck for our book.

For our Skill Center we played with bugs. We matched colors, patterns, and types of bugs.

For our Outdoor Learning we played in the water fountains. We worked our Gross Motor Skills climbing, and played with our friends. We also found a tiny frog friend.
