Week of April 18

This Wednesday we had a visit from the fire department. The kids were excited to tour the ambulance and fire truck.

We read I'm Gonna Like Me by Jamie Lee Curtis.

For our Sensory Center we practiced cutting playdoh.

For our Fine Motor Center we strengthened our hand muscles. We stretched elastic bands to fit them around a container.

For our Art Center we picked out favorite shape and colored the page.

For our Skill Center we worked on handwriting. We used dry erase crayons to track lines and shapes.

We worked a giant fire engine puzzle together. We took turns identifying the parts of the puzzle.

It was a beautiful week so we were very happy to play on the playground. We used water and brushes to "paint" the fence.

Next week is Super Hero week. You can wear a Super Hero shirt if you like!
