Week of February 12

We celebrated Valentine's Day with the shape HEART.

For our Art Center we made Porcupine Valentines. We used glue stick to add hearts to our porcupine.

For our Fine Motor Center we worked our hand muscles. We used hole punchers on pink hearts. It was a lot of work, but we didn't give up!

For our Sensory Center we played with playdoh. We were doing some hand exercises here too. We used extruders to press the playdoh out into different shapes.

For another Fine Motor Center we decorated Valentine bags. We used stickers and crayons to decorate them. Sticker take a lot of hand dexterity. Using stickers is an easy and fun way to improve our hand control for our hand writing later on.

We had lots of fun passing out Valentines to our friends!!

Our little ones are forming such sweet friendships in class. We love watching them all bloom.
