Our color this week was BLUE.
Our book was The Deep Blue Sea by Audrey Wood.
For our Art Center we started making Jellyfish. We painted half a paper plate BLUE. We will add eyes and nematocysts later after the paint dries. Our little ones are getting so good at painting. We focus on long strokes, dragging and lifting our paintbrush.
For our Play Center we went fishing. We used magnetic fishing pols to catch fish of all different colors. We are learning to wait patiently and take turns.
For a Fine Motor Center we played with BLUE foam dough. This really helps our hands get stronger.
When it is rainy or too cold to go outside, we stay in and play.
