Week of September 5

 This was a shorter week with the Monday holiday, but we still squeezed in a lot of fun!

Science: Bugs

Color: RED

Bible: Creation - God made us all big and small

For our Art Center we made lady bugs. We used a stamp to put RED circles on our paper. We pressed down real hard with our stamp. Then the teacher helped us turn those circles into lady bugs.

For our Sensory Center we played with RED Playdoh with rolling pins. We rolled the playdoh until it was flat.

For our Skill Center we played with color matching bugs. We tried to match the type and color of the bugs to a card.

For our Science Center we used a microscope and magnifying glasses to look at bugs inside marbles. We could see the bugs up close and count their legs.

For a Fine Motor Center we added farm stickers to our RED barns from last week. Stickers are excellent for developing dexterity and strength in little hands.

We enjoyed some indoor playtime when the playground was extra muddy.

We had fun outside with our friends, bubbles, and even a visit from the trash truck!
