Week of January 28

We had a super short week with the cold weather and canceled school. We were sad to miss our field trip. We will let everyone know if that gets rescheduled.

Our shape this week was SQUARE.

For our Art Center we decorated the first letter of our name with colorful squares. A lot went into this project. They had to work their fine motor skills to pick up the tiny SQUARES. We named colors as we chose our SQUARES, and they got to use glue.

For our Fine Motor Center we played with Duplo Blocks. These blocks are the perfect size for tiny hands. They can be creative while strengthening their hand muscles.

For another Fine Motor Center we laced SQUARES onto silly straws.

For our Skill Center we traced SQUARES with markers.

Next week our shape will be HEART.
