Week of October 7

Our color this week was BLUE.
Our Science theme for this month is fall.

We read The Little Blue Truck and The Little Blue Leads the Way.

For our Art Center we painted muddy trucks. In our story, the Little Blue Truck got stuck in the mud. We used glue stick to put our little blue truck on the paper. Then we finger painted with brown paint to add the mud.

For our Fine Motor Center we built with bristle blocks.

For our Play Center we retold the story of The Little Blue Truck with toys. Our little ones used the toys to act out the story.

For our Sensory Center we played with monster trucks and playdoh. We made tracks in the playdoh. We also pretended our trucks were stuck in mud.

For our Outdoor Learning Center we stacked pine cones, played with acorns, and played in the sand. We are learning to use our new balance beam.

We found an interesting visitor outside.

Mrs. Nicki came by and read a story to our class during snack.

Our color next week is BLACK.
