Week of September 30

This week our color was BLUE. Ask your little one to show you things that are BLUE.
Our book was Pete the Cat and his 4 Groovy Buttons.
Our Bible Focus for September has been Day 1 of Creation. God made the day and the night.

For our Fine Motor Centers we played with buttons. We did two types of button lacing. For one, we used string and laced chunky buttons. For the other, we had a large button on a ribbon. we buttoned on felt squares.

For our Art Center we colored pictures of Pete the Cat. We used BLUE crayons. Our little ones are working on their tripod grasp, so we are using triangle crayons to help them.

For our Creative Center we played with loose parts. We gave out little ones an assortment of natural items and included some BLUE things as well.

For our Outdoor Learning Center we drew with sidewalk chalk, played in the sand, and played with water. 

Next week out color will be BLUE.
