Happy Halloween! We had lots of fun with fall activities this week!
For our Art Center we painted fall trees. We used paint and an aluminum foil ball to paint leaves on trees.
For a Fine Motor Center we dissolved ghosts. We sprayed biodegradable packing peanuts with water and watched them dissolve. It takes a lot of hand strength to squeeze those triggers!
For our Sensory Center we played with black beans. We scooped them into funnels and jack-o-lanterns.
For another Fine Motor Center we played with lima bean "ghosts". We spooned and transferred them to a cup.
For our snack we dressed up some graham crackers. We used plastic knives to spread on vanilla frosting and added black and orange sprinkles with bats and pumpkins. This was a big hit!
Mrs. Kristie found a baby slug, so we took some time to check him out and talk about how he moves around.
We loved seeing all our little ones in costume. They enjoyed passing out treats to their friends!
