Week of September 27

 Our color this week was YELLOW.

Our book was Piranhas Don't Eat Bananas by Aaron Blabey. Our little ones found this book hilarious!

Our Star Student gets to help Mrs. Andrea with Circle Time. They lead the ABC Song, look out the window and tell the class what the weather is for the day, and they help the class count. They get to sit in a special rocking chair and lead our class line.

For our Art Center we made bumble bees. We painted a paper plate with YELLOW paint. We glued on black stripes and added a black pipe cleaner. 

For our Play Center we arranged flowers by pushing the stems into the bottom of a colander. We played with pom pom pollen and crochet bumble bees. We learned how bees collect the pollen from the flowers.

We got to put the finishing touches on our Jellyfish this week. Everyone was excited to see them come to life.

We added some fun new things to our Outdoor Learning area. We added wood cookies for stacking and some special facial feature rocks. Mrs. Christy traced some of our friends with chalk and let them choose a face.

We took advantage of good weather to play a ball game!
