Week of October 5

Our color this week was BLACK.

We read The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle and Aaaarrgghh! Spider by Lydia Monks

In the mornings at Circle Time, we all give our class elephant Trudy a big good morning hug.

We love to sing the ABCs with these silly robots!

In our Art Center this week we made paper plate hats with black spiders.

In our Sensory Center we played with black beans. There were a few spiders hiding in there as well. Our little ones had fun finding and hiding them.

In one of our Fine Motor Centers we fed frogs spiders and black pom poms. We practiced our pincher grasp using clips and clothes pins to pick up the spider food.

In our other Fine Motor Center we caught spiders in a web. We strengthened our grasp using tweezers to pull spiders out of the web.

He found a bug!

Our color next week will be BLACK.
Our Star Students are Brandon and Sousuke.
There will be no school on Monday due to Fall Break.
