We are having lots of fun in Jumpstart! We are starting to learn our routine and classroom rules. We are so happy with how well our little ones are doing.
At Circle Time our Star Students get to help lead the class in our ABC song and use the teacher's pointer.
When we start Circle Time, we make a circle with our friends and singe this song.
For our Art Center we painted fingerprints. We learned we have 5 fingers on each hand, and that all our fingerprints are unique just like us.
For a Fine Motor Center we built with Bristle Blocks.
For another Fine Motor Center we played with Pegs. We inserted pegs into the boards and also stacked them.
For another Fine Motor Center we played with Mr. Potato Head. We talked about our body parts and how many arms, legs, eyes, and ears we all have. They enjoyed dressing up their potatoes.
During Music this week we added scarves to our songs. We put the scarves over our face. We threw them in the air and caught them.
We had fun on the playground too!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our Home for Your Heart Chapel Campus the week of September 10. You can stop by during the week after drop off or during our Fall Family Picnic on the 13th.
