Our book was Ten Apples Up on Top by Dr. Seuss.
At Circle Time we stacked 10 Apples on top of our class elephant's head. We practiced our counting all the way to 10.
For our Art Center we painted apples with RED dot painters. We practiced gently making our dots on the paper. Just a dab will do.
For our Sensory Center we played with RED Playdoh using rolling pins, extruders, and cookie cutters.
For our Skill Center we played a color matching game with pajama cards.
For our Fine Motor Center we used chunky alligator tweezers to pick up RED and GREEN pom pom "apples" and place them in the right color apple container. Using tools like tweezers are great for building up our hand strength!
We love our visits from the trash truck at recess!
After Snack Time we gather near the reading corner with a book.
Music time means fun with all sorts of fun tools!
Thanks for sharing your little ones with us!
