Week of September 12

Our color this week was BLUE.

We read The Little Blue Truck by Alive Schertle.

During Circle Time we practice singing the ABC song. Our little ones love to sing with the robots.

We also played a color sorting game. We took turns placing objects in the right color jars.

For our Art Center we painted Little Blue Trucks. In the story, Blue gets stuck in the mud. We used our fingers and brown paint to make our trucks muddy.

For our Gross Motor Center we drove chunky trucks around on the floor with friends.

For our Sensory Center we played with Blue foam dough. Our little ones enjoyed squishing and molding the dough.

For our Fine Motor Center we played with nuts and bolts. It was a challenge to match the nuts and bolts by shape and color, twist them together, and take them apart.

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to our Fall Family Picnic. The rain didn't keep us from having a fun time!
