We read If You Give a Moose a Muffin by Laura Numeroff.
Our Star Students did a great job this week!
During Circle Time everyday we sing and dance to the Hello World song.
For our Art Center we made Blueberry Muffins. We practiced using glue sticks.
For our Fine Motor Center we played with snap blocks. We practiced snapping them together and building a tower.
For our Sensory Center we played with a gel bag. We used a Baggie full of hair gel and blue food coloring. We squished it and used our fingers to draw.
For another Fine Motor Center we threaded blue buttons and spools into blue pipe cleaners.
Our little ones pray everyday before snack. "God is great. God is good. Let us thank Him for our food. Amen."
Picture Day was this week. We had lots of sweet smiles. If you have not yet returned your picture envelope, you can send it in with your money next week.
We have all kinds of fun on the playground. We have been using our gross motor skills to kick balls back and forth with our friends. We also have lots of fun with nature. This week we were visited by a tiny green frog and a big grasshopper. Our little ones loved getting a close look at God's creatures.
Next week we will have a storyteller visiting from the Vanderburgh County Library on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday Silly Safari will visit us at 10:30 for an in-house field trip. All our Monday/Wednesday little ones are invited to come for the show in the lobby.
Our Star Students for next week are Spencer and Andrew.
Our color next week is YELLOW.
